Jewish Activities in Mainstream Schools
UJIA JAMS is a project of the UJIA Jewish Life Education Centre supporting young people in leading Jewish activities in mainstream secondary schools.
The project works with over 18 schools throughout the UK, and is regularly developing resources and programmes for more than 1000 pupils, enabling them to learn and teach each other about a wide range of Jewish topics.
JAMS provides speakers from across the Jewish community who are keen to facilitate learning sessions with young people.
Additionally, the project provides training and development opportunities for Jewish Society (J-soc) chairs and committee members, ensuring they have the skills and capabilities to provide for their fellow pupils today, and go on to be involved communal leaders in the future.
Here are some resources and information tailored to support J-socs with running their committee and their activities at school.
